AmpKit LiNK HD is a pure digital guitar interface that connects via USB on the Mac, and also supports iOS devices via the 30-pin or Lightning port. Features:

LiNK HD in Action
Agile used LiNK HD exclusively at NAMM 2013, with great results. Our NAMM audio setup: a preview version of AmpKit 1.6 with stereo support running on iMac, MacBook Air, iPad 4 and iPad mini, connected to AmpKit LiNK HD, then via LiNK HD’s Line Out jack stereo into a 10-channel Peavey mixer, and finally on to a pair of 1200W Peavey Impulse 12D powered enclosures with amazing-sounding ribbon drivers.
